Shame I can’t find a better copy of this song. It sounds a lot better on record

Along with Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo, Bailter Space makes noise beautiful. I wish I knew how they did it.

I’m in bed, sleeping, but this will get posted an hour before I get to the computer. Ain’t modern tech wonderful? This is one of my favorite songs from last year. This band is finally getting some coverage stateside.

I heard Glenn Branca once played a concert that was so loud it cracked the foundation of the building hosting the event. It sounds apocryphal to me, but it’s damn cool if it’s true. But this song is surprisingly beautiful.

One of the funkier songs (and bands) from the otherwise soulless and sexless early 90s. Though I guess indie rock is usually sexless because “sex with women is sexist” (imagine that said by an angry woman with a nagging tone of voice). Whatever. Anyway, on with the show!

I’ve loved this song for a while now, but just now discovered they had a video for it. Great song, and the girls are super cute. And this video is really hilarious and great in that 80s kind of way.
