I love Dressy Bessy. This was the first song I heard by them. I liked them a lot better when they were still “twee as fuck”

Despite being a bunch of no good, French, Marxist commies, I really, really love Stereolab. I couldn’t understand WTF Laetitia said half the time anyway, and the other half of the time she was speaking French. Here’s an old one, but one of the best:

I’m in bed, sleeping, but this will get posted an hour before I get to the computer. Ain’t modern tech wonderful? This is one of my favorite songs from last year. This band is finally getting some coverage stateside.

I heard Glenn Branca once played a concert that was so loud it cracked the foundation of the building hosting the event. It sounds apocryphal to me, but it’s damn cool if it’s true. But this song is surprisingly beautiful.

You know, future dating stuff is kind of like cheating. But fun, fun cheating. Here is a great b-side by Swervedriver. It’s a great song, and the word “skyline” is one of my favorite words in the English language.
