As always, the same standard disclaimer applies. I didn’t draw these, found them on /c/, etc, etc…

There is one universal truth in the world, good power pop never gets old.
Continuing the theme of yesterday’s song, Ash with Kung-Fu. These Irish lads should watch out before playing this song live in England. Is it more offensive for White kids to sing about Kung Fu movies than a Black guy? One wonders…
Or maybe until next year. I still want to take a couple of business courses and an astronomy course. It’s the only science that interests me. But thank God I’ll never have to set foot in the lang and lit department ever again. That place gives me the creeps. All the Marxist and Feminist zombies gather there. Its not a place that real humans were meant to go.
Last month some asshole cops in England arrested a man for singing this song within earshot of a Chinese couple. In the spirit, here is Carl Douglas Kung-Fu Fighting!
Honestly, I can’t imagine any Chinese people taking offense to this song. Or anybody for that matter.
Days like today I am in love with YouTube. Why? Because it allows me to bring you the all-mighty Low and all 10 minutes of Lullaby.
Awww yeah, Weezer when they were still good. I wish they’d never gotten back together because they’d have two classic albums under their belt and would have been a much lamented band that broke up too soon, rather than an average alternative band that doesn’t know when to quit.
Pinkerton is one of those albums that’s a bit too close to the bone for me to truly enjoy. It’s one of the best albums of the 90s but also reminds me of too many of my own personal failings. This song included. I’ve fallen for quite a few lesbians in my time and it sucks. But this song is also kind of comforting in a way.
One of Smashing Pumpkins weak points was Billy Corgan’s tendency to be melodramatic. Thankfully this is NOT one of those moments. Actually, Gish was pretty free of that kinda thing, but Disarm keeps Siamese Dream from being perfect.
Anyway, Snail is one of my all-time favorite songs. I’d highly recommend you go out and buy this CD or LP if you haven’t already. Unfortunately this YouTube clip sounds really compressed and tinny and doesn’t do the song the justice it deserves.
