Back in the day (the mid 90s, y’all) I was stuck between fearing, hating and lusting after Riot Grrls. Most of them were bagel bumpers (at least until they graduated college) so the lust part was out-of-the-question, but I always wanted to be Riot Grrl’s Corin Tucker. Or, more to the point, I wanted to be Corin Tucker’s Carrie Brownstein. Corin got married (to a man! gasp) later in life, had kids, but still continues to rock.

Man, this album is gonna be great. I say that because I’m pre-dating these a month beforehand. I’m sure I’ll have heard the entire album before this goes live (oh wait… it won’t come out until Tuesday the 24th, cough cough, no, I won’t hear it for another two days, cough cough). I’m loving it. And this video is really great.
