It’s (unofficially) Canadian week for the Song of the Day series. I didn’t really mean for this to happen, but it did. So, here is #4 in the series. Metric’s “Front Row.” Some of the “indie than thou” types hated the last Metric album, but I loved it far better than the first two.

Well, The New Pornographers have a new album out today called Together. Much like Challengers it has a lot of mid-tempo and slow numbers. I will reserve judgement until I listen a few more times, but here is a good one from Mass Romantic. I far prefer the upbeat, louder songs to the slow ones…
