2010 has been a really bad year for musical deaths. The most recent (that I am aware of) was Alex Chilton. Somehow I missed paying tribute to him when he passed away, but there’s no time like the present to post this: “September Gurls” is easily one of his best pure pop songs. R.I.P. Alex
