More classic power pop from Illinois. Looking back, it’s hard to imagine what the arena rock crowd thought about Cheap Trick in 1977. While most 70s rock bands were talking about partying and drinking and sex, Cheap Trick wrote songs about domestic violence, drug addiction, suicide, serial killers and (in the case of this song) predatory ephebophile stalkers. Thankfully they have the pop hooks and musicianship to justify such subjects.
